In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

The Lasting Impacts Of Humans
While some people may argue that climate change is not caused by humans, I do not think this is true. Yes, there are some causes of climate change that can be natural, from volcanic activity and the tilt of the earth, but the majority of it is from humans. So much research has been done to see just how much the climate has changed. Scientists have taken ice cores, to predict what the weather may have been like 400,000 years ago. The most convincing evidence to link climate change to humans is that in the 1800s, the climate significantly increased. At this time, the industrial revolution was beginning, factories were being made, and producing huge quantities of products. Along with this came greenhouse gases. It is no question to me that humans have caused this. Even today we can see the increase in climate, due to automobiles, and humans not sustainably using products. So, in my opinion, I would agree with what climate scientists are saying. Humans are causing climate change, and this will have devastating effects if we don't do something now.
