The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?
Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

Create a Compost Pile
My family shares a central compost pile where we collect our apple cores, banana peels, and any other biodegradable substances. Composts are easy to start and maintain. Degraded compost piles make great mulch for gardens too! Compost piles are easy ways to lessen the amount of trash that travels to the landfill and great to use for another cause.
That's awesome. I was wondering if you leave leaves in the compost and if it kills the grass because I asked my dad and he said he left the leaves on the lawn once and the density of water at the bottom killed the lawn.
That's a really great idea! I also have a compost bin in my backyard along with a few gardens, how do you think there is a way to convince people to start composts in gardens in their own space? People often tend to not care as much but it really can be a great way to combat climate change, if we could get a large enough amount of people to do it.
