The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?
Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?
Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused? >
Climate Change
Not only is climate change real, but humans are also the major contributor of greenhouse gases that cause climate change. Not only has climate change began an irregular change the longer and more advanced humans have become but many of us refuse to make the necessary changes to stop this from becoming worse. However, without any effort from everyone, it will be extremely difficult to turn this around.
I completely agree with you! I believe that humans are major contributors to climate change. They have the choice to help change and save our world but because it has not affected them yet, they choose not to take part and be aware. Once it does affect them it will be too late to change the difficult situation. The planets average surface temperature is quickly rising and it is warned that we have 12 years to make a change.
I completely agree with you! Climate is real, and a huge problem in our earth. Humans play a major role in climate change and are not realizing the reality of it, until it is too late. Temperatures are rising because of all the greenhouse gases humans are producing, which is effecting Antarctica, by melting all the ice. Since the ice is melting, the animals that live there have to serve the consequences that the humans have created.
