Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Jarred's Carbon Footprint
Hello, my name is Jarred. I am 14 years old, and I live in Mooresville, North Carolina, USA. My carbon footprint is a total of 9,027, which is below the average person. The majority of my carbon footprint came from the food section because I eat a lot. Theres not much in my transportation because I don't travel as much. I eat a lot because I come home almost everyday from marching band practice with a lot of stress.
Your carbon footprint is really low. you should do some more traveling, or maybe go site seeing.
I was surprised about my home and how low it was because I mostly stay home and not travel as much. In the future I could eat less because I eat anything in my house and by the minute I am done theres nothing good to eat in the pantry for my family. I could also eat less at restaurants because I do that a lot.
I also eat a lot when I get home because I am just hungry
My carbon footprint was just a little bigger than yours. I think eating less at restaurants is a good idea. I think it will reduce your food section in your carbon footprint.
Mine was bigger than yours I will not travl as much and see what that will do
