Hello from Maine!
My name is Emily Gray and I teach science at Madison High School in Madison, Maine. I grew up in Portland, and have always been very passionate about climate change and educating people on our impact. I'm excited to start this unit with my freshman science class on climate change and wanted them all to start with calculating their impact on the planet. This is an especially important topic for them since a terrifying amount of them do not think climate change is happening or think its natural and will not harm them. (I know this from giving out a 'Climate Opinion' anonymous survey to my classes. Here's to hoping I can change some young minds
