Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon footprint
Aremi, Mooresville North Carolina United States
My total carbon footprint was 9,751, compared to my region it is below average which I think is pretty good. The majority of my carbon footprint came from transportation. When I got my results I expected it to be much more. The one that surprised me the most is the purchases one, because I tend to buy a lot of things so i thought it'd be higher. Also food wise mine was slightly higher. I learned that I use a lot of transportation. My total footprint is already low but i can still do things that can make it lower like maybe try walking to practices, start eating more locally grown food, and try to spend less
Your carbon footprint was very close to mine, although yours is lower. Similar to your results, I had also expected my purchases to be much higher than they were. Agreeing with your solutions to reduce your footprint maybe you could try to bike riding to school and to your practices!
Your total was a lot lower than mine and I thought that my total would be a lot lower.
