I found this website, run by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, that is full of information about climate change in the U.S. I found the section that focuses on impacts of climate change particularly interesting. Not only does it show impacts for each specific region of the U.S., but it also shows how climate change impacts things used in everyday life, such as water resources. The website states under the Human Health section that warmer climates are expected to increase the number of heat related illnesses and deaths, as well as worsen the air quality in the area. Warmer climates can also lead to droughts and other weather conditions that are often dangerous to humans. A climate change can even allow some diseases to spread easier. A gradual climate change won't impact humans immediately, but over time it will. We must put more effort into finding a way to slow down and eventually stop the climate change that is slowly coming upon us, before it's too late.
