I agree with you, however, I wonder if it has gone past decreasing our emissions of CO2. For decades, we have been emitting great amounts of CO2 and producing too much. Decreasing would be helpful, but not enough, at this point stopping emissions or reducing it to nothing might be the only option. I am not certain that the results would be immediate or just halt our current state so it doesn't get any worse.
