Global Warming (Effects and Solutions for them)
The average temperature of the earth has risen 1.5 degrees fahrenheit over the last century. Although not at a seemingly fast rate, even the slightest changes could result in major changes in the earth's weather and climate. These changes will eventually result in long term effects like more heat waves and droughts, stronger hurricanes, and higher sea levels. One of the best things we can do to help prevent this problem is reduce the amount of fossil fuels we release in the air. This can mean investing in solar power, wind power, and other alternative energy sources or just reducing energy use all together. Another helpful way to reduce global warming is to conserve water. Even the slightest things such as cutting your showers short and turning the tap water off while you are brushing your teeth can have big effects. I think the best thing for people to do is set examples for others and spread awareness about global warming. Many people might not be aware about th e effects of using too much water unnecessarily and releasing mass amounts of fossil fuel. Awakening them to these issues can possibly make a difference.
I definitely agree with your statement and the long term effects seem adequately backed up by your evidence. I like how you offered suggestions as well as the facts to the climate change in our world.
