Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Justin D Carbon Footprint
My carbon footprint total was 5,135K. I was actually impressed with my total because I never really thought about it before hand. The majority of it though came from my home. The main reason my home is the highest is due my family and I not turning off electronics and lights when there not being used. But the reason mine is so low is because the location of my house, I live right next to a food market, general store, gas stations, schools and main street, I have everything I need right next to me so anytime I need anything I just ride my bike. So I have a recommendation to anyone with a high transportation score, can you get to the place your going without a car, if so ride a bike or walk instead of using the car, it takes longer yes but it make earth live longer, so go out and get some exercise and save the environment.
Riding a bike instead of driving car bring down you carbon footprint a lot.I never ride my bike to anything so my transportation was at 12,000.I think if I ride my bike more I will be able to bring it down some
Mine was a lot higher. We went on vacation to Arizona last summer so my transportation number was really high. Normally it would be a lot lower, but we still have to drive more than you do. Good job on keeping your number so low.
Mine was a lot higher. We went on vacation to the beach last summer so mine was up there
My home was the highest as well and it was also due to me and my family not turning off the lights.
