In a new study made by some Harvard Scientists are proposing an idea to release special aerosol particle into the stratosphere that would refract infrared radiation back up into space.  This idea has been proposed before but it was damaging to the ozone but with this new particle it would actually help rebuild the ozone. This particle could be applied by flying planes along the equator continuously for one year and release this particle high up in the stratosphere.

One really big problem with this strategy is that is does nothing about the CO2 itself/.  So, for example, Ocean Acidification would be just as bad.  And it could be worse: people might just assume it's OK to emit CO2 because we can simply block warming with aerosols.  In other words, people may assume it's not necessary to reduce emissions anymore!
