Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Danielle N Carbon Footprint
Where am I From? - Mooresville, North Carolina, USA
Age - 14
Description - Total:17,441 Its Average
Majority - Home
Reaction - The results surprised me because I thought my household would be smaller and my transportation would be higher. I learned that I should be more conservative with my home sources
Future Actions - I am going to make sure I turn off water and lights when I am not using them.
Mine was mostly from transportation and food.To bring down your home carbon footprint you would want to turn off light sand water when not using them, and try to use fans to cool the house
These are good ways to lower your carbon footprint, and I like how low yours is already. Good Job!
I was surprised to see mine to. I also need to turn lights off more often when I am out of a room.
I recommend any time you walk out of a room to turn off the lights, at first it would be hard but soon it will become habit
i had about the same total as you and my highest was also home. That is a good way to decrease your footprint.
I had the same problem, I too thought that my transportation was going to be more, but it was actually my house. I am also going to start conserve my resources in my household, turing water off, turning lights off, etc.
