I do agree that China is one of the largest pollution emitters in the world and it will only go up as the population in the cities increase. But I do believe that Chinese's population and government understand that they must do something in order and the situation in their country. An Example is them staying in the Paris peace accord and this link ( heconversation.com/as-incomes-rise-in-china-so-does-concern-about-poll ution-65617 ) shows that the Chinese citizens are aware of this.
