Climate Change Resources >
a pretty good sustainable city
First: No fossil fuels. Cars MUST be electric. Solar, wind, and water power will be maximized. More research will be done constantly to increase the efficiency of these fuel sources, as they are obviously not the most powerful. Bikes and other human-powered vehicles are encouraged. More plants will be planted. This sounds...cheesy, I know, but plants really can make a significant difference in CO2.
Obviously, A LOT of money, probably from the government, would be needed to carry this out. Many people will not want to change away from fossil fuels, as they are making money from them.
This sounds really good and I think it will make a huge difference as well.
This sounds highly unrealistic, most likely no one will give up car a for a bike. Take for example some people drive 30 miles to work it would be significantly longer and technology is to advanced for people to resort to bicycles that are slow.
As great as that would be, this must be taken slowly. And "John" Mr. Wilson might.
