Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Hello, my name is Jordan. I live in Mooresville, NC and I am 14 years old.
My total carbon footprint is 21,198kgs. My average is higher than my own region. A lot of it came from my transportation. I was really surprised, because I didn't think I did this much but when you analyze it, it makes you think even more about how your effecting your environment. I mainly need to focus on my transportation, because it's the highest. In the future I definitely will lessen the amount of stuff I use and do.
Our carbon footprint numbers were close. They were the same for transportation too. I think I will try to focus on traveling less each year.
Your Carbon Foot Print Was Higher Than Mines, But I Agree With You To Lower Your Foot Print For Transportation It's A Good Idea.
I agree with you. Though I don't have that high of a transportation. It sounds like a good idea.
Your carbon footprint was bigger then mine. I agree, if you really think about how you effect the environment, it can be surprising.
Your Carbon Footprint was higher than mine. I think it's good that you're trying to use less transportation and help the enviroment.
