Having the latest technology is a want. It is not something you need because people can function and communicate perfectly fine without them. People can just plan things in advanced so that way they won't do last minute asking and then plans might have to change.

I disagree with you my fellow friend, technology is something we actually need because, if we don't have it and we go back to the way we used communicate with people, if there is an emergency, technology is a fast we to get things through to one another, and if we needed help sending a letter to someone would take at least 1-3 days. And by then it would have been over. i disagree, we use technology for resources and emergencies. thats how we communicate and get ahold of people if needed intead of having to wait 1-3 days

Well back then technology was a want but nowadays its a need because with out it now there would probably be a lot more deaths than there already is, technology nowadays helps saves lives so that's why i think its a need.

I believe that technology is both a need and a want, it truly matter. It is important that we, for example, need computers, for online work and for research that can help advance our studies. It is important that we also have a communication to the outer world, with social media and other forums like this. What I don't believe in is excessive technology use and items that we buy just for fun. Technology has its benefits but like most things, needs balance. A lot of the things in technology are wants, for example air pods or apple watches. Things like computers and cell phones though support educational purposes, help communicate with parents, piers, and teachers, and balanced time on it can also help relieve stress for teens.

I believe that technology is both a want and a need. In many schools technology is necessary for doing class and homework. Without my computer, I would not be able to do a majority of my work. Also, cellphones can be seen as a need due to the fact that it allows you to communicate with parents for important issues. However,  phones can be considered a want when it comes to social media and games. However, due to our society it is viewed as more of a need because almost everyone has one.
