Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Foootprint
Molly Heckle, USA, Mooresville NC, 15
My carbon footprint average was 17,564. My total was above average. The majority of my carbon footprint came from home which was 9,831. My results were pretty much what I expected but what really surprised me was my transportation was low even though I drive a lot. I learned that I should probably start doing more stuff to lessen my carbon footprint in my home. An example of that would be to start turning off the water when I brush my teeth and turning off the lights whenever I’m not using them.
My total was similar to your average as well. My highest portion was home as well. Well I believe it is good that you are at least trying to make a difference, and lessen your carbon footprint total.
My total was 2,000 under yours. my highest was my home because my family doesnt do alot of driving/ traveling
Wow thats a lot of carbon footprint from your home.
its great that your trying to lessen your footprint
Have you tried opening the blinds when it's sunny out?
you can use the suns light to save your electricity
you should turn things on of when your are not at home and maybe use less of what ever it is you use at home
