Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Thrifting
Thrift shopping is an extremely easy way to lower your carbon footprint. There are thrift stores on almost every major avenue, making it extremely easy to access. Not only can you buy good quality clothes for cheap, some places will even buy your own unwanted clothes from you. Not only is it good for the environment, it's also good for your wallet.
these are both very valid points you are making for saving money and saving materials used in factories to mass-produce clothing
I agree that thrift shopping and buying off other people is a great way to get clothes. Not only can you save money, but you are helping other people and the environment.
I agree that thrifting is a great way to not only reduce your carbon footprint but to also save your money from buying new clothes which are more expensive.
