Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

carpooling
Carpooling is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint by minimizing the amount of carbon released through vehicular transportation. Not only will it benefit the environment, it will make roads less packed, reduce accidents, and reduce the amount of gasoline used. You can split costs of gasoline between the passengers, make new friends by carpooling, and hold each other accountable to being on time wherever you go. Overall, carpooling is the best way to travel.
Carpooling is the way to go! Not only does it positively impact the environment with less carbon emissions, it also is a great way to travel for people as well. It results in less traffic (more time for you) and less gasoline used (saving money for you).
