Plastic Island
Plastic in the ocean is currently one of our biggest environmental issues. As a society we continue to come up with ways to solve this problem; majority of the solutions I've seen is large groups going out to clean the beaches. I have recently came across a video of a man who bundles the plastic he has found and made a livable island out of. He bundles the trash and puts pallets and sand on top for a foundation, to keep everything together he plants mangroves that grow around the floating island. This man is recycling plastic by using it as a foundation for his own living needs. With the rising ocean a recycled floating island seems like a very good solution.
