Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My name is Alex. I am from Mooresville, North Carolina, U.S.A.. My age is 14 years old. My carbon footprint was 17,911kgs and it was above my region. The majority of my footprint comes from transportation. My reaction was that this can’t be right thats too high. The transportation surprised my being the highest because I did not know that flights brought up your carbon footprint that much. I learned that your carbon footprint is based on what you do and what you eat. My future actions to reduce my carbon footprint can be to help my family remember to turn off lights when they leave a room and to unplug anything that is not being used.
Most of my carbon footprint also came from transportation.I did not think mine would be so large.
most of mine came from food .. im fat tho so its good
A had a very low transportation foot print so I recommend to you to ask your self if you could walk to a place or ride your bike instead of a car or bus
I think that is a good idea to turn off the lights whenever you are not in the room and to unplug anything that is not in use.
most of my footprint came from home I also plan to do that in the future and also use less water
