Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

carbon foot print

yes i do see a big difference across the globe in the carbon foot print  and the reason for that maybe because  each country or state does things differently   so that may mean some countries have a bigger carbon foot print than others what i mean by that is some countries may recycle more or may not use as much transportation than others. yes i did use the calculator to try to reduce my carbon foot print and found out that my carbon foot print is quite small compared to the average citizens.  and i have discovered that in order to lower my carbon foot print i must travel less and grow my own food and eat more home cooked meals instead of eating  processed foods from places like McDonalds and burger king
