The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?
Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?
Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused? >
Climate change
Of course it is caused by humans.
After this footprint we got to know how much we put our nature in danger so we can get better at saving it
Hope more people will join to discussions like this because that's the only way we can realize how much waste are we causing even though we're trying to recycle.
Of course climate change is real! Ever wonder why the temperature has been abnormally higher than usual, Places in the north east have only gotten a total 4 inches of snow! The average In New York is usually 28 inches, this year only 4.2! So, who is to blame? The answer is quite simple, us humans. Humans continue to burn fossil fuels, coal, etc to use them as a source of energy for cars. This causes a rapid increase in heat which then leads to no snow and melting of glaciers, which then leads to animals and eventually us humans being affected. Us humans need to figure out a way to reduce energy in order to save the planet!
I agree with you that climate change is real, however it is not only human caused: we humans play a big part in it but wildlife also participates. We have to find solutions, like buy artisanal furniture and eat seasonal food to act for our planet!
I think Climate Change is real and is mostly caused by humans doing every day things. For example in most of the bags of chips there is palm oil. Palm oil is one of the main factors of rainforest destruction. Animal agriculture is also a very big part of climate change because of all the water and land that goes into raising animals especially cattle. Also all of the cars and factories contribute to the amount of carbon released into the environment of course.
