Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Surprised
I was quite surprised by my results on my carbon footprint, I did not expect such a high level. Most of the carbon is in the house which I definitely didn't know and I am beyond average in my area with the number of 3,560 kgs. The average is 1,956 kgs. Still, in food, I am under the average with the number of 1,402 kgs while the average in my area is 2,308 kgs. Also, I am pretty good with purchasing too. My number of carbon kgs is 59 and average is 597. Quite proud.
Although pretty low levels in food and purchase I am still beyond average in the world and as a consequence I shall definitely be more aware of what I'm consuming and doing throughout the day. I think my results are a bit concerning. I really need to change some things and I most certainly will.
