Think Big - My personal changes
After looking at how high my carbon total was, I thought that it was time to make some changes. I talk to both my parents and decided to go part-time vegan. Researchers at the University of Oxford say that taking meat and other dairy products out of your own diet could be the single best thing to do towards climate change. It also can reduce your Co2 emissions by 73%.
I was also thinking of starting a conversation with my peers about how heating and air conditioning contributes to our earths greenhouse gases. Not only is it expensive (it makes up two-thirds of an average citizens energy bills) but it also makes a total of 6,400 pounds per person. These studies make me want to give energy to my house by solar power.
