Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused?

The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.

But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?

In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

Is the futer summer going to get worse because of global warming.

Like will it be warmer every summer

Yes, the weather will change overtime. This is because of the increase of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. If there was less carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, the weather would not get warmer drastically. The process of carbon emissions going up into the atmosphere is called the carbon cycle. Human activity has made the carbon cycle change rapidly.

Of course, it definitely will if no one acts in consequences. At all events, greenhouse gas emissions have increased exponentially in the last 100 years since the industrial revolution in England. In this respect, it seems essential to change our consumption habits and lifestyles in order to slow global warming. Indeed, we have the power to make a difference; to improve the catastrophic situation of our planet as proved by the Covid 19 pandemic. Thanks to lockdown, the industrial activity of the majority of countries has stopped, allowing our planet to breathe a little. Thus, our gas emissions during this period had decreased considerably and we could see from satellite images that the clouds of toxic gases emanating from Chinese factories had decreased considerably also. As a matter of facts, it's up to men and politicians in particular to make a difference, to apply real measures. Indeed, we can stop the acceleration of global warming. However, this can be complicated given the consumer society we live, in which making money is more important than the question of the environment.
