My Online Orders

KWindrossBOD5

In my life, I order a lot online, and I never really thought about how this would affect the environment. Many people in their lives have probably ordered online at some point in their life, and sometimes it's the stuff that they want yet do not need. I know that this is definitely true for me, because there have been countless times when I saw stuff that I wanted online, and ordered, without really thinking do I actually need this. Often times, after a while I don't even bother using what I ordered, and it will just go to waste or be used months or years later. I order a lot off of Amazon, and according to Dellinger, Aj, Amazon orders with small delivery windows, often results in more miles, fuel, and emissions per delivery which is not good for the environment (Dellinger, 2019). Amazon also cooperates with third-party couriers, who get the packages delivered to their final destination, yet those companies use large diesel trucks, who produce big emissions (Dellinger, 2019).  After taking this test, I decided that before I order things online I will as myself if I actually need this or if I just want it.
