Solar Panels
In order to reduce global carbon emissions, we need to rethink our approach to energy. Currently, most of our energy comes from natural gas, petroleum, and coal. Although these methods supply high amounts of energy, they are terrible for the environment. Each of these energy sources creates various heat trapping gases which, as the name suggests, prevent heat from leaving earth’s atmosphere. These gases steadily increase the temperature of the earth. In order to prevent this, we need to increase our use of renewable energy. One extremely popular way of producing renewable energy is through solar panels. Solar panels convert energy from the sun into usable energy. Overall, by increasing our usage of solar panels, we can drastically reduce global carbon emissions.
