The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?
Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

Are electric cars a part of climate change, do they release chemical reactions or are they safe to use
Electric cars do contribute to CO2 emissions, but not nearly as much as a conventional car. They emit way fewer greenhouse gases when being used, as they do not have a tailpipe to produce carbon dioxide. According to https://www.edfenergy.com/electric-cars/environment, "one electric car on the roads can save an average of 1.5 million grams of CO2", which is the equivalent of 1.7 US tons. Although electric cars are more efficient than petrol or diesel cars on the road, they are less efficient during production. A third of an electric car's CO2 emissions stem from the production of their lithium-ion batteries. Recently, however, these batteries have been reused or recycled one the car has reached its end. Overall, electric cars are a greener option than diesel or petrol cars.
