is climate change as big of a problem as we make it seem?
Climate change is very clearly a big problem. It could lead to the demise of the Earth as we know it. According to climate.nasa.com, "Global sea level rose about 8 inches in the last century. The rate in the last two decades, however, is nearly double that of the last century and is accelerating slightly every year". This is important because it means that a lot of large metropolitan areas could be underwater. We are already seeing this in places like Venice, where there has been widespread flooding. This illustrates the fact that Climate Change is as big of a problem as the media portrays. It may be even bigger than that.
