Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Students footprints
Students' footprints can define the way you live. If you are taking 20-30 minute showers, leave your lights on the whole day, you're affecting the people, and animals around you. Not only does this waste electricity, water, and sometimes gas. Students' footprints can be the amount of trash they throw away in the right bin if they keep the water running while brushing thier teeth. All the little things affect the way you and others live. If we stop keeping out lights on during the day, using extra water, then we need these could impact the environment in many different ways.
I also agree that our small actions like stop keeping out lights on during the day can reduce number of carbon footprints. People should start making small actions to make our environment better.
Yes! I think smaller actions are easier to manage. For example, remembering to turn your lights off is 'easier' than going to extreme lengths to reduce your footprint, but it's something small that can still make a big difference.
