Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

Wants or Needs?
I agree and acknowledge the fact many people, internationally, overuse certain supplies that aren't really a necessity to our living. This overuse of materials that aren't necessary for our living has results in a global crisis. An example this overuse would be people wanting more plastic materials like plastic water bottles or plastic soda bottles and because of that many companies overuse fossil fuels and that began to damage our ozone layer which henceforth results in a increase in temperature around the globe. We can help solve this problem by not buying plastic as much as we do.A smaller example of an overuse of non-essential materials would be our overuse of electricity especially in our homes. But, this overuse of electricity can be solved by turning off our lights when we leave home, turn the water off while we're brushing our teethes and taking our phones and computers out of the outlets they're plugged in at when we are done.
