There is a big difference between wants or needs. To you need to have a super cool car that is very harmful to the environment, no. If everyone looked at life as what they need instead of what they want the whole world would be healthier and people would be too. The more things a person wants, the more manufacturing it costs. If everyone just got by on what they needed instead of wanting things all the time every would be in a stable environment and stable financially. Many people mistake wants Vs. needs. Many people thinking they need this or need that, but that is really just a front for what they want. I fall into this category to sometimes I say, "I need that" when really my life would be the sam without it. When people buy things they just have to consider if they really need it or they just want it.

I agree with this statement Cole. I also believe it is very important to really be conscience of our decisions when buying foods or clothes, or anything that we may think we need. I think for this idea to appeal for the common person, there should be some sort of system that would be helpful rather than a simple budget plan. Personally, my family and I never get anything done when were not educated on how to do that thing. We just recently started composting. Although there are budget apps, none of these apps are focused on reducing carbon footprint. I believe putting time, effort, and expertise into one of these apps could be worthwhile in our fight against climate change.
