Food
While looking through my carbon footprint data, I noticed that my emissions based on food were surprisingly high. I believe this is because of the farming industry's effect on the climate change process. Food industries are largely based off agriculture, and agriculture has contributed 9% to all greenhouse gas emissions. My family's diet has always been meat based, which is a leading cause in why my emissions for this category is so high. The US has always had a problem with over consumption, which is why we are the leading country in obesity. With a society based on industry and money, global warning will be an issue that we need to take down now.
