Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprints
Our carbon footprint can be reused by using items that are more reusable and have use less carbon. When leaving our houses, we should always turn off the lights and any unneeded electronics on. We can start using more environmental safety materials such as cloth bags and personal thermos water bottles. When buying new clothes, always make sure it is needed and think about donating your old clothes. Lastly when traveling try using more environmentally friendly transportation when going short distances such as scooters, bicycles, and skateboards. If a car is needed, try looking into eco friendly cars such as electrical cars. Changing small daily activities can heavily reduce our carbon footprint.
I agree with what you are saying here and agree with the alternatives we can use to hep reduce our carbon footprints. Biking can be such a great way of transportation to close places. It also a great way to exercise by moving your body and transporting to places. Another great solution can be when you go grocery shopping instead of using around 5 plastic bags to carry your fruits and vegetables you can bring your own baskets and bags. I definitely agree that we can reduce our carbon footprint if we just try and put a bit more effort.
