Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

Purchasing unnecessary items is not good. There is a big difference between wants and needs. We need oxygen to survive, but we do not need the latest iphone to survive. Purchasing unnecessary such as extra unneeded clothes can be bad because they require materials such as cotton and factories use fossil fuels to power their machines. In the end our environment is what's more important.
