Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

How do we reduce the carbon footprint?
We can reduce carbon footprint by buy thing that worth less carbon and reusable. For example, we buy light bulb that uses less energy and give you a good amount light. We also reduce the use of electricity when we don’t use the device like don’t leaves your device on when you aren’t using it and with light bulb too, closed the light when you don’t need them. Also, we reduce the food carbon use by solving the food waste problem by donating them to the people who need them so we can reduce the food carbon use that the we eat won’t be waste and eat less meat. We can also reduce the transportation use by drive less car and use more bicycle that we travel to place by bicycle which bicycle doesn’t need gas and you can exercise when you are riding the bike. We can also need to travel less by airplane because airplane take an enormous amount of oil to fly so we need to reduce it. There might be more way to reduce carbon footprint just by doing less human activity in the natural world.
