Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

The impact that if the carbon footprint is reduce

Eddddisooon

The reduce of carbon footprint meant the reduce of greenhouse gases that is the benefit of the human society that less heat will be trap in our atmosphere due to the fact there is less greenhouse gases. It is because the less carbon footprint meant less use of resource that contain oil and fossil fuel that we use fossil fuel for a lot thing and most of those things are in the carbon footprint that include the use of gasoline oil for transportation  and plastic use on personal purchase for bag. Therefore, less carbon footprint meant less danger of Global Warming and Climate change so no hotter summer, no colder winter, no severe hurricane, no severe weather, no rising sea level,  no shortage of food, and no negative impact etc.
