Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Ozone layer

Saratrinigar6

There are a serious and a big problem  with the ozone layer, we are destroying it with our ways, and so we should start to be more aware, because this problem is destroying one of our important places on the planet, the poles, and the animals who live here. This problem melts the ice in that place and the wildlife is losing their hábitat.

Lots of products that we use such as hairspray, hair gel and other toxic products, can cause the ozone layer to deplete further. A good way to keep this from happening is by reducing the amount of toxic ingredients that are being let out into the atmosphere.
