Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Environment & Carbon Footprints
Though my carbon footprint came out lower than average in the United States, I have started to become more and more aware of the effect I am having on the environment. I am recycling now more than ever and I have been encouraging my parents to buy locally grown food. These thoughts were increased significantly as I travelled into the mountains. I realized that we don't just reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere for our our own health, but also to preserve the environment we want our children, and our children's children to enjoy.
That is a great idea Alex I am going to start recycling too
