Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Hello from Spain
Hello, my name is Flor and I live in Denia, Spain. I'm from the Chabas.
My carbon footprint is 6828 kgs of CO2 per year. I will try to avoid making it bigger. I want to reduce it. I think that carbon footprints are a great way to make people conscius about the climate change. Now I care more about the environment and how my actions affect it. I try to use the car as less as possible and instead I go walking to the places I want to go. In my opinion, society isn't informed well enough about climate change because if they were, they would do more to save our planet.
I find this website is very useful and it helps us, me, my school and my classmates to realise the truth.
I like the idea of walking places instead of driving, but if some place is to far to walk that you would need to drive to what do you do then to help decrease your carbon footprint? Maybe you could also bike or take a bus. I agree also with the fact that society isn't well informed about this issue effecting our climate changes around the world.
