Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

I think technology is a need. The cell phone is needed to make important calls and technology in hospitals saves lives every day. I think certain technology primarily wants, like PCs and Xbox but they are enjoyable to have.

I agree with you, as our society advances we continue to use too much technology which is making our carbon footprints increasingly go up.
