Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Student Footprint
The calculator really helped me realize that I had a lot of lights in my house which is a little odd. But it also help me realize that our diets can have an effect in our carbon footprint so producing your own vegetables seem like a good way to go.
I was also very surprised to find that we had a lot of lights in my house and sometimes we don't even use them or have any real purpose for them. I also agree that producing our own vegetables is a good idea because we can make our own food and it would be could for both the environment and ourselves since the vegetables would have a lot of nutrients for us.
My house also had a lot of different lights but we don’t even really use all of them. Producing your own vegetables is definitely a smart thing to do, due to the positive impacts it has. An interesting and realistic way that you could go about producing your own vegetables, and some of your own food, is to start a vertical garden. It would be an easy thing to make food with, if you live in a city, or can’t plant outside.
