Is having the latest technology a want or a need?
How often do you get a new cel phone or mp3 player? Did you really need a new model? Do you consider the environmental impact of these purchases? If you are addicted, how can you break your addiction?

I personally don't believe that we need to have the latest phone/technology to be able to communicate and socialize with others. It is for sure a want, to show off or get the new features on a phone but an older phone is still going to do the job.
