Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Student Footprint
I used the calculator to see how much of a carbon footprint I really had and was quite surprised to see how much of an impact I had when it came to food. In order to reduce the carbon footprint that I currently have, I would like to reduce the amount of meat that I consume on a daily basis and slowly turn my diet into a more plant-based diet with as little meat as possible and hopefully become a vegetarian one day. I would like to be a vegetarian for a while because I think it would help reduce my own carbon footprint and I want to inspire others to take a more plant-based diet.
