Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon footprint and how to make it lower.
My carbon footprint is 3,993 kgs. I can lower it by stoping the use of bottled water and start using a water filter instead. Also by recycling paper and not letting the water running while I brush my teeth. ![]()
That sounds wise and manageable. I plan to do something similar to lower my carbon footprint!
I live in Belarus and we have an average carbon footprint of 5000, which is the average, and I have 10000 how to fix it.
You could try to walk, bike, or use public transportation which could help you lower it. It would help lower the amount of emissions. You could also try and eat more vegetarian meals, or build a garden, if you live in a place where you can’t plant you could try making a vertical garden, which would be a healthier way to live for yourself, and the earth.
