people don't always realise the effect they have
when i calculated my footprint, i found a lot of things i had never thought about before being large contributors to my score. it surprised me that something so seemingly small could have such a big affect on my footprint. I think that this is probably something that a lot of other people will also see, and it is something that should not be to difficult to change if we can just get the word out or offer alternatives
I agree. When i got my score, i was surprised at how high it was, especially since my family takes lots of measures to reduce our footprint. Small things add up over time, and i think thats a bigger problem. We need to recognize the small things that we do in order to reduce the total carbon footprint we leave.
I agree, because when I took my test, I found out that a lot of things that I usually wouldn’t think about actually affect by carbon footprint. I’m also glad I took the test though, because I found a lot of things that add up and contribute to my carbon footprint which I can change easily with easy alternatives. If people realized how easy it would be to do simple things a different way, the world could have much less carbon trapped in the atmosphere.
I also agree because I did not realize how much eating would effect my carbon footprint.
