Energy generation in Germany

berti

Hello everyone,
In Germany we also have a problem with our resources and our energy production.  Far too much of our energy is generated by lignite.  But this is very harmful for the climate. But the burning of the coal is also directly dangerous for the people. It also produces harmful substances such as nitrogen oxide, sulfur dioxide and mercury. This is dangerous for people because the substances damage the respiratory tract.
Also the "external costs" that arise in this way should be taken into account. For example, the health damage caused by the pollutants.
In addition, forests have been and are being destroyed in order to build new power plants. As a result, the polluted air cannot be filtered because there are not enough trees and many animal species would lose their habitat.  This would not only be extremely sad but would also cause costs.
Germany is one of the largest CO2 producers in the world. This must not be! Germany should definitely stop burning lignite before 2038!
What do you think?

There are many ways you can change the ways in which you heat your home or provide energy for your household. If applicable remove yourself from the grid, or seek climate friendly alternatives like solar or wind power. In addition, the rise of other green power alternatives like geothermal energy and hydro power have made it easier to reduce your carbon footprint while still being able to heat your home and provide energy for your home.

Yes, it sounds very complicated. It's almost like there's no "way out." I recently read about “green energy” which actually includes renewable natural sources (like the Sun). Green energy does not pollute our planet. Generating energy that produces no greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels and reduces some types of air pollution. One of the positive things about green energy is that green energy deals are no more or less expensive than standard energy deals, on the whole. So, yes... If you want to see more about this, here's one good link about how Denmark tried green energy:

Yes, in America there is a large issue with the burning of coal and fracking. The issue is that all the politicians want to generate revenue for their campaign so nothing really ever gets changed in America because if you want to win an election and change things in the government it is very hard because of these large corporations that give the money to the politicians if they don't do anything about climate change which makes it so that there's not an easy way to win.

Some gouvernement help for the cause but if we continue in the consumer society we do not résolve the problem.
