Yes, I think climate change is our fault. We are using so much that we do not need. For example, we are driving too much when we can walk and we are buying far too many things.
I agree. Climate change/global warming is our fault. To extend your point about how humans are buying too many products, a study conducted by the Center for International Environmental Law says that" By 2050, plastic-related greenhouse gas emissions may surpass 56 gigatons—representing 10-13 percent of the remaining carbon budget." As humans buy more and more unnecessary goods, we are actively contributing the amount of plastic that gets produced. Especially by online shopping, we are using way more packaging and producing more carbon than ever before, especially amidst the pandemic when people get bored and are just buying things from large corporations like Amazon, who don't find ways to reduce their carbon footprint.
