Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

How I can reduce my carbon footprint
Some ideas for ways that I can reduce my carbon footprint and anybody else can reduce their carbon footprint is walk or ride bikes for transportation as much as possible, take shorter showers, turn of lights when you leave the room, do not flush the toilet if you only urinate, drive a low co2 emission vehicle, dry your clothes in the sun rather than a dryer, hand wash your clothes instead of using a washer. These are just some things that I think would make a drastic change if everybody adjusted there lifestyle a little bit. I believe that we are all capable of doing this we just need to come together and hold each other accountable for being wasteful.
